Commends Danny Cottrell of Brewton for being named the Willard B. Simmons Independent Pharmacist of the Year for 2009 by the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA).

Recognizes Cottrell's exemplary leadership and commitment to independent pharmacy and community service.

Notes that in early 2009, Cottrell, an Auburn University graduate and owner of The Medical Center Pharmacy, issued bonuses to employees to encourage charitable giving and stimulate the local economy, which garnered national attention.

Extends best wishes for Cottrell's future endeavors by copy of the resolution.
