Recognizes the accomplishments of Benjamin Russell Wood of Autaugaville, Alabama.

Notes Wood's military service in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater as a Combat Engineer, building pontoon and bridges.

Acknowledges Wood's earning of a B.S. degree in Agriculture Science from Auburn University in 1950 and his subsequent teaching of agriculture to returning veterans.

Recognizes Wood Farms, which has been continuously operated by the Wood family for over 130 years and was named an Alabama Century and Heritage Farm in 2009, growing to over 800 acres under Wood's management.

Extended gratitude for Wood's service to the State of Alabama and to the nation, acknowledging his leadership and contributions recognized by numerous organizations in the agriculture community.
