Commends Sandra Harris, Executive Director of the Tallapoosa County Chapter of the American Red Cross, for nearly 39 years of exemplary community service.

Recognizes her record-setting accomplishment of collecting 1,149 units of blood in a Russell Corporation blood drive in Alabama.

Acknowledges her leadership in the Red Cross "Services to Military Families Program" and her response to multiple natural disasters including the 1982 Ice Storm and Hurricanes Opal, Ivan, Dennis, and Katrina, coordinating over $475,000 in resources for Hurricane Katrina evacuees.

Notes her personal dedication to faith and family, including a 49-year marriage and three children, and her role in elevating the Tallapoosa County Red Cross Chapter to recognition as one of the top chapters in the nation.
