Designates the Pond Creek Bridge on Alabama Highway 55 in Lockhart as the Roland Birge Bridge to honor Mr. Roland Birge, patriarch of the Birge family in Lockhart.

Mr. Birge spent his free time fishing Pond Creek, now known as Lake Naomi, throughout his life.

Requests proper officials to place and maintain markers designating the bridge with the new Roland Birge Bridge name.

Provides a copy of the resolution to serve as a memento of the honorary designation by the Alabama Legislature.

Adopted by the House on 08-APR-10 and the Senate on 08-APR-10.
