Commends Freddie H.E. Jones, II, for organizing a special ceremony to honor Vietnam Veterans on April 30, 2010, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Recognizes the service and sacrifices of Vietnam Veterans, noting that over 58,000 U.S. Armed Forces members lost their lives and more than 300,000 were wounded in the Vietnam War (1961-1975).

Acknowledges that approximately 1,200 members from Alabama were mortally wounded and countless others injured in Vietnam.

Welcomes Vietnam Veterans as patriots who defended American freedoms and democracy, stating their service should never be forgotten.
