Acknowledges Hueytown's history dating to the 1870s and formal incorporation on May 6, 1960, comprising more than 14 square miles of residential and commercial properties.

Recognizes Hueytown's connection to NASCAR racing legends Bobby Allison, Donnie Allison, Charles "Red" Farmer, and other members of the "Alabama Gang" who dominated racing in the 1960s and 1970s.

Notes distinguished public figures with Hueytown ties, including Senator Richard Shelby, State Superintendent Dr. Joe Morton, Medal of Honor recipient Henry E. "Red" Erwin, and State Senator Hank Erwin.

Commends the City of Hueytown as a city of "Pride, Patriotism, and Progress" and conveys the Legislature's highest tribute and best wishes for the city's future.
