Recognizes March 9, 2010, as Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, Day in Alabama.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated was founded in 1911 at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and now operates more than 700 chapters throughout the United States and worldwide.

Alabama's state organization consists of 12 graduate and 12 undergraduate chapters located throughout the state; during fiscal year 2007-2008, the 24 chapters volunteered more than 10,000 hours and donated thousands of dollars to community projects.

Directs presentation of a copy of the resolution to Mr. Kieth R. Jackson, Seventh District Representative, acknowledging the fraternity's progressive, cooperative, and constructive role in civic and political life.
