Commends Mr. Thomas Edward "Peter" Greene, a distinguished Alabamian, for his outstanding accomplishments and dedicated service.

Greene earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Dillard University, a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Tuskegee University, and Certification in Administration and Supervision from Auburn University.

Served more than 31 years in the Mobile County Public School System as teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal; worked 7 years as Educational Training Coordinator at Alabama Shipyard and Atlantic Marine Shipyard; currently serves as Executive Director of the 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, Incorporated.

Active member of Bethel A.M.E. Church holding multiple leadership roles, member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and involved in professional education associations including NEA, AEA, and Alabama Retired Teachers Association.

Greene is recognized for his philanthropic work, volunteer service to elderly and ill church members, and his speaking engagements throughout the state.
