Warrior Academy Braves won the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) Class 1A State Basketball Championship on February 18, 2010, defeating Restoration Academy 75-62 in the championship game.

The championship marked the second state title in school history, with the first championship won in 2006 and three runner-up finishes in between.

The Braves finished the season with a 17-9 record and defeated previously undefeated Cornerstone Christian Academy 51-42 in the semifinals.

Head Coach Barnes Heath led a roster including three seniors (Major Burton, Ryan Parker, and Darius Quinney) and nine other players including Corey Matthews, C. J. Brown, Kevin Isaac, Markell Gray, Davalon Gray, Kyandre Coleman, Justin Robinson, and Jarron Childers.

The House of Representatives honors and commends Warrior Academy's players and coaches for their well-deserved success that reflects honor upon their families, school, and community.
