Commends the Crenshaw Christian Academy Varsity Boys Basketball Team for winning the Alabama Independent School Association 2009-2010 Class AA State Championship.

Team defeated Evangel Christian Academy 66-63 in an overtime championship game on the campus of Huntingdon College and won the state title for the second consecutive year.

Team compiled a 27-3 record for the 2009-2010 season under head coach Michael Malpass and assistant coaches Mike Jones, Chris Pederson, Tyler Hill, and Josh Phillips.

Team achieved a 10-2 regional record and won the Lakeside Christmas Tournament and Marty Thrasher Memorial Tournament; combined two-year record was 54-4 with home games undefeated.

House of Representatives extends best wishes to all 14 team members: Jake Hataway, Jelle Vermeyen, Sebastian Deburchgraeve, Marino Bolling, Tate Welch, Chase Johnson, Alex King, Darren Foster, Will Jackson, Trent McGough, Thomas Mills, Austin Brown, Nate Palmer, and Mac Blake.
