Commends Rebecca Gilbreath Crumpton (called Becky) for her lifetime of achievement as an educator and mentor at Winston County High School.

Ms. Crumpton graduated from Winston County High School in 1954, earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Alabama in 1956, and received a Master's in Mathematics from Florence State College in 1965.

Taught for 41 years, beginning at Haleyville High School in 1957 before returning to Winston County High School in 1961 to establish a comprehensive math department, and served as senior class sponsor, yearbook sponsor, and sponsor for cheerleaders and Beta Club.

Following her 1997 retirement, remained active in her school and community through Scholar's Bowl and weekly GED classes, and was recognized by Alabama Baptists in 2008 as Alabama Baptist Volunteer Missionary of the Year for her missionary work including four trips to South Africa.

House of Representatives recognizes Ms. Crumpton for her tireless years of service as an educator and awards her a copy of this resolution.
