Commends AOD Federal Credit Union (AODFCU) on opening its new Oxford office in the Bobby J. Israel Building with a dedication ceremony scheduled for March 29, 2010.

AODFCU was chartered in 1950 with 45 original members employed by the Anniston Ordnance Depot and has grown to serve more than 40,000 persons across five offices.

AODFCU operates as a full-service financial institution with more than $200 million in assets as of February 2010 and provides savings programs, lending, checking products, and additional member services.

The new Oxford office will add approximately 74 employees with an annual payroll exceeding $2 million, contributing substantially to the local economy.
