Honors and commends Mr. Thomas Edward "Peter" Greene, a native of Mobile, for his inspirational life of achievement and service to the State of Alabama.

Recognizes his more than 31 years of service in the Mobile County Public School System as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal, plus seven years as Educational Training Coordinator at shipyards.

Notes his active leadership roles in Bethel A.M.E. Church as Worship Leader, Class Leader, and Chairman Pro Tempore of the Steward Board, and his past presidency of the Ninth Episcopal District Lay Organization.

Acknowledges his memberships and leadership positions in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, and various professional and civic organizations, as well as his recognition as a gifted public speaker.

Commends his philanthropic work and devoted Christian service, including volunteer visits to elderly and ill church members and financial assistance to those in need.
