Recognizes the Caucus, formed March 31, 2005, as the first unified voice advocating for Tennessee Valley region interests in the Alabama Legislature.

Highlights major legislative achievements including passage of Tennessee River Protection Acts for multiple counties, recovery of $3 million in TVA in-lieu-of-tax payments, and passage of House Bill 44 returning approximately $6 million to the Valley.

Notes the Caucus successfully overrode multiple gubernatorial vetoes to secure funding for education, mental health, fire protection, law enforcement, and infrastructure improvements in the Tennessee Valley.

Acknowledges Representative Fields' leadership enabled the Caucus to achieve goals in five years that legislators acting individually had previously considered unattainable.
