Commends Representative Butch Taylor as the outstanding member of the Alabama House of Representatives during the 2006-2010 quadrennium.

Recognizes Taylor's representation of House District 22 in Jackson and Madison Counties, first elected in 2007.

Acknowledges Taylor's 31 years of service as a teacher and coach before retirement, as well as his service on the New Hope City Council and Madison County Board of Education, including one term as President.

Recognizes Taylor's family consisting of one son and two grandchildren.

Commends Taylor for his tireless work to improve the lives of all Alabamians during his tenure.
