Celebrates the life of Gregory DeWayne Johnson, who was born April 19, 1980, and died October 14, 2008.

Honors an annual fund-raising picnic held in April during Johnson's birthday month, with the April 17, 2010 event dedicated to collecting donations and useful items for the homeless.

Recognizes Johnson's accomplishments including his work as a musician known by the artist name "Bama Gee," his published CD, performance at West End Day, graduation from West End High School Class of 1998, and attendance at Stillman College.

Notes Johnson's employment as a railroad engineer and conductor for CSX Railroad, his membership in New Beginning Lodge #970, and his membership at Peace Baptist Church, Riley.

Extends highest tribute to Johnson and to his family members, including brothers Gabriel D. Johnson and Mario S. Johnson and mother Pamela S. Johnson, who continue his legacy of service to others through the homeless fund-raiser.
