Acknowledges her professional background as a business attorney and owner of the Irons Law Firm, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of North Alabama and law degree from the University of Memphis, plus prior service as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Tennessee Court of Appeals.

Highlights her community leadership roles on boards including the Shoals Entrepreneurial Center, Shoals Economic Development Authority, SafePlace Incorporated, Boys and Girls Clubs, and her past presidency of the Lauderdale County Bar Association.
