Proposes an amendment to the Alabama Constitution of 1901 to prohibit occupational taxes in Madison County on gross receipts from vocations, occupations, callings, or professions earned by natural persons.

Election on the proposed amendment shall be held in accordance with Amendment 555 to the Alabama Constitution and state election laws.

Election official shall assign a ballot number and display the amendment description on ballots with "Yes ( ) No ( )" voting options.

Ballot language shall read: "Relating to Madison County, proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, to prohibit the imposition of an occupational tax."
