• Grants the board authority to deny, suspend, or revoke licenses for conviction of felonies involving moral turpitude, fraud, ethical violations, rule violations, and other just cause, with disciplinary hearings required before license action.

• Establishes penalties including administrative fines up to $1,000 per day for unlicensed practice, administrative fines up to $1,000 per violation, civil penalties of $50 per day, injunctions, and Class A misdemeanor criminal liability for violations.

• Allows board member removal by Governor for failure to attend three consecutive meetings or for misfeasance, malfeasance, neglect of duty, felony conviction, or inability to perform duties.
