• Proposes a constitutional amendment to establish nonpartisan elections for circuit and district judges in Marshall County.

• Creates a separate "Official Nonpartisan Circuit and District Judicial Ballot" without party symbols or devices, available during primary elections allowing voters to vote for judicial candidates without voting in either primary.

• Establishes a runoff ballot process during general elections if needed, and eliminates primary ballots for unopposed candidates who will appear only on the general election ballot.

• Transfers all duties and responsibilities previously delegated to political parties under state law to the judge of probate in Marshall County.

• Directs the election to proceed under Amendment 555 of the Alabama Constitution and provides the ballot language to be used in the election on this amendment.
