Proposes a local constitutional amendment for Greene County to establish a special election process for filling vacancies in the offices of judge of probate, revenue commissioner, or sheriff.

Special elections shall be held only when 12 months or more remain on the vacant seat's term, scheduled no sooner than 60 days and no later than 90 days after the vacancy occurs.

The Governor calls the special election for judge of probate vacancies, while the judge of probate calls elections for revenue commissioner or sheriff vacancies.

The person elected to fill the vacancy serves for the remainder of the unexpired term, with elections held according to state law and Amendment 555 to the Alabama Constitution.

Election officials shall place the amendment on the ballot with a description of the measure and "Yes ( ) No ( )" voting options for voter approval.
