Recognizes Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, as a nonprofit social and service-based organization founded in 1911 at Howard University in Washington, D.C., with more than 700 chapters nationwide and internationally.

Acknowledges Alabama's state organization consisting of 13 graduate and 13 undergraduate chapters that volunteered more than 13,000 hours during fiscal year 2008-2009 and donated thousands of dollars to community projects.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Wayne Leonard, State Representative and President of the Alabama state organization, with highest praise and best wishes for future service endeavors.
