Mourns the death of Dr. Maurice M. Mullendore of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, who died on March 7, 2010, at age 97.

Records that Dr. Mullendore was a prominent physician specializing in surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology who relocated to Sheffield, Alabama in 1948 and served as resident physician for Reynolds Metals Company before beginning private practice.

Recognizes his membership in the American Medical Association, Colbert County Medical Association, Sheffield Lions Club, Masons, and Shriners, where he received recognition for 50 years of service, and his charitable contributions to the community.

Identifies surviving family members including his wife Louise Dixon Mullendore, three daughters, one sister, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Extends heartfelt sympathy to Dr. Mullendore's family by copy of the resolution on behalf of the Alabama Legislature.
