Commends Senator Myron Penn for distinguished legislative service to Senate District 28 (Barbour, Bullock, Henry, Lee, Macon, and Russell Counties) and the State of Alabama since first being elected in 2002.

Recognizes Penn's active involvement in the legislative process through committee assignments including Judiciary Committee (which he chairs), Confirmations Committee (Vice Chair), and nine other standing committees.

Highlights Penn's background as a native of Macon County, University of Alabama graduate with J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, private law practitioner, former Bullock County Commission Chairman, and former Director of Constituent Services and Youth Affairs under Governor Jim Folsom, Jr.

Commends Penn's outstanding record of service to Senate District 28 and the State of Alabama for his invaluable contributions to the legislature over eight years.

Senate adopted the resolution on 08-APR-10 and House adopted on 13-APR-10; a copy will be presented to Senator Penn.
