Commends Sherry A. Welsh for receiving the 2009 Superior Service Award from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Auburn University, and Alabama A&M University.

Recognizes that Mrs. Welsh received this highest Extension award twice, previously receiving it in 2001, and has served as an Agent Extension II in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Program for Fayette County since 1988.

Honors her outstanding service to limited resource families, mothers-to-be, infants, nursing mothers, and school-aged children in Fayette County, and her efforts to help them lead healthier lives.

Notes Mrs. Welsh is married to John W. "Billy" Welsh and has two sons, Jon Welsh and Chris Welsh, with their respective spouses Tracy and Brittany.

Senate adopted the resolution on April 14, 2010 and the House adopted it on April 22, 2010.
