Commends the Sumter County High School Lady Wildcats for winning the Alabama High School Athletic Association State Championship for Class 3A.

Lady Wildcats defeated the top-ranked Madison Academy Lady Mustangs 53-50 in the Championship Game.

Team compiled a record of 26 wins and 3 losses during the season with 14 players and 4 coaches: Eddie Jackson, Winnie Sue Presswood, Edith Scott, and Cadarrin Wilson.

Legislature extends sincere best wishes for continued success on the court and in the classroom.

Senate adopted the resolution on April 21, 2010 and House of Representatives adopted it on April 22, 2010.
