Honors the memory of Samuel Lamar Adams, who died at age 62, with a joint resolution mourning his passing.

Commemorates Adams' professional accomplishments including his service as Assistant Attorney General under Governor George Wallace, legal practice in the firm of Merrill, Harrison, and Adams, and service in the Alabama Senate from 1975 to 1979.

Recognizes Adams' educational background as a graduate of Abbeville High School, University of Alabama, and Cumberland School of Law, as well as his community involvement with First United Methodist Church and various Masonic organizations.

Lists surviving family members including his wife Mary Earle Elmore Adams, two children, grandchildren, mother, and siblings, and notes he was preceded in death by his father Judge Forrest Lamar Adams.

Directs the Legislature to extend deepest condolences to Adams' family and honor his life through this special tribute; adopted by the Senate on February 4, 2010 and House on February 18, 2010.
