Mourns the death of former Alabama State Senator Bill Menton of Irvington, Alabama, who died at age 90.

Recognizes Menton's service as Alabama Senator representing Mobile County's District 35 (elected 1982) and as Mobile County Commissioner from 1988 to 1992.

Honors his careers in law enforcement, including establishing the juvenile division for the Mobile County Sheriff's Office, serving as police chief for Bayou La Batre, and becoming executive director of the Alabama Fraternal Order of Police in 1996.

Acknowledges his contributions as a Spring Hill College alumnus and athlete inducted into two Halls of Fame, his role as a youth advocate, co-founder of Mobile Area Retarded Citizens, and establishment of Little League Baseball in Mobile.

Expresses sympathy to his surviving wife of 65 years Carmen Santana Menton, eight children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
