Congratulates Voncille Thompson Perkins on her 100th birthday on March 4, 2010.

Notes Mrs. Perkins is a Pike County native who graduated from Troy High School and had a distinguished career with the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries and the Farmer's Home Administration.

Recognizes her community service including honorary membership in the Troy Woman's Club, participation in First United Methodist Church of Troy, and 51 years of membership in the American Legion Auxiliary.

Acknowledges she was married to Leonard Perkins, president of the First Farmers and Merchants Bank of Troy, and is grandmother to four grandchildren.

Extends the Legislature's heartfelt best wishes for many more years to come.
