Commends the Hoover High School Girls Basketball Team for winning the Class 6A State Championship with a 39-19 victory over Bob Jones High School.

Team set an AHSAA record for holding an opponent to the lowest point total in State Tournament history while averaging 65 points per game with a 32-1 season record.

Acknowledges the leadership of Head Coach Donnie Quinn and Assistant Coaches Jan Holcomb, Krystle Johnson, George Minoso, and Kim Cook.

Recognizes senior Tyrese Tanner's achievement of scoring her 1,000th career point during the season and the team's tournament victories at the 6A NE Regional, Oak Ridge Tournament, and Hoover Big Orange Classic.

Resolution adopted by both houses of the Alabama Legislature on March 4-9, 2010, honoring players, coaches, and school officials for their accomplishments.
