HB 402 Summary

• Deletes the prohibition in Section 28-3A-25 of the Alabama Code that prevented licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and their servants, agents, or employees from being employed by any other alcoholic beverage licensee.

• Allows individuals working for one alcoholic beverage licensee to simultaneously work for other licensees engaged in manufacture, storage, transportation, or sale of alcoholic beverages.

• Renumbers subsequent subsections of Section 28-3A-25 to reflect the deletion of the employment restriction provision.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and Governor approval.
