• Amends Section 28-3A-4 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to increase the nonrefundable filing fee for applicants seeking an original alcoholic beverage license from $50 to $100.

• All applicants for original licenses must file a written application with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board containing required information and submit the filing fee along with appropriate license fees and any county-imposed fees.

• The increased fee remains nonrefundable.

• The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
