Authorizes the President of the University of South Alabama to appoint and employ police officers to maintain peace and order on university property, including owned, leased, or controlled property.

Police officers are invested with full police officer powers and may eject trespassers from university buildings and grounds.

Officers may arrest without a warrant persons believed guilty of disorderly conduct, trespass on university property, or any public offense committed in their presence, and bring them before district or municipal court.

Officers may arrest with a warrant any person found on or near university premises charged with a public offense and take them before the proper officer.

Officers shall cooperate with and assist the regularly constituted authorities of Mobile and Fairhope, with jurisdiction coextensive within those municipalities' police jurisdictions.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
