Amends Section 8-19E-2 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to prohibit resale of admission tickets for benefit events or charitable purposes at prices exceeding the printed face value.

Allows admission tickets for athletic contests, dances, theaters, concerts, circuses, and other amusement events to be resold above face value, except when the event is designated as a benefit or for charitable purposes.

Violation of the resale restriction constitutes a Class A misdemeanor upon conviction.

Bill becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law.

Excludes the bill from Amendment 621 constitutional requirements by defining it as creating a new crime rather than requiring new local expenditures.
