AL HB73

Authorizes the sale of draft or keg beer and malt beverages for on-premises consumption by properly licensed retail licensees within the City of Ozark in Dale County.

Requires that draft or keg beer and malt beverages may only be sold in kegs within city limits.

Applies all existing ordinances governing bottled or canned beer to draft or keg beer and malt beverages.

Requires the City of Ozark governing body to hold a referendum at the next general, special, or municipal election for voters to approve draft or keg beer sales.

Repeals Act 2008-423 from the 2008 Regular Session and becomes effective immediately upon Governor approval or upon otherwise becoming law.
