Commends four Gadsden area students for their achievements at the 63rd annual YMCA Youth in Government Conference held in Montgomery, Alabama.

Amy Sims was selected as an alternate for the YMCA National Affairs program; Damien Moyer passed a bill limiting work hours for school students.

Joseph Sanford received the service leadership award; Brett Johnson received the Betty Carr Award, the first area student to receive it since 1997.

Recognizes the Youth Legislature as a mock state government program that provides high school students experience as officers, leaders, lobbyists, pages, staff, and reporters.

House adopted the resolution on March 22, 2011, and the Senate adopted it on March 24, 2011.
