House Joint Resolution mourning the death of Mr. Enoch Hugh Sullivan of St. Stephens, Alabama, who died on February 23, 2011, at age 79.

Mr. Sullivan was recognized for extraordinary musical talent and conducting the Annual Bluegrass-Gospel Festival in St. Stephens, and was inducted into the Bluegrass Halls of Fame in Indiana and Kentucky, the Alabama Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame in Iowa.

The Sullivan Family ensemble was honored by the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Mobile Country Music Association, with the group's recordings inducted into the Library of Congress.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife Margie L. Brewster Sullivan; four children (including son Hugh McArthur and daughters Sharon, Deborah, and Lesa); one brother; five sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

House adopted the resolution on March 22, 2011, and the Senate adopted it on March 24, 2011, recording his death with deep sadness and offering tribute to his life and legacy.
