Congratulates the Samford University Women's Basketball Team on winning the 2011 Southern Conference (SoCon) Championship with a 57-54 victory over Appalachian State University on March 7, 2011, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Recognizes the team's achievement of earning a berth in the NCAA Tournament with a 25-7 record, the most wins in program history.

Honors standout players Emily London (SoCon Sports Media Association Player of the Year) and Savannah Hill (Outstanding Player of the Tournament), both named to All-Conference and All-Tournament Teams.

Acknowledges Head Coach Mike Morris's leadership and the contributions of all team members to the successful season.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Samford University for display and conveys the legislature's congratulations and best wishes for future endeavors.
