Commends Janet Holcomb of The Fitting Touch in Birmingham, Alabama, for being named 2010 Gold Retailer of the Year by the Alabama Retail Association.

The Fitting Touch is a specialty lingerie store dedicated to proper bra fitting and has been recognized by top manufacturers as one of the most knowledgeable teams in the United States for bra fit training.

The store expanded from Vestavia City Center to The Summit in 2009, doubling its square footage and increasing customer base by more than 4,200 between 2008 and 2009.

Janet Holcomb and The Fitting Touch previously earned Vestavia Hills Retailer of the Year in 2007 and silver winner status in 2008, and the store trained five new specialty store owners from other U.S. locations in 2009.

House adopted the resolution on March 31, 2011, and Senate adopted it on April 6, 2011.
