Commends Mark Whitlock, president of Mark's Outdoor Sports in Vestavia, Alabama, for being named 2010 Gold Retailer of the Year in the "Annual Sales More than $5 Million" category.

Recognizes Whitlock as the first-ever two-time winner of that award category, presented by the Alabama Retail Association in cooperation with the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Business on September 22, 2010.

Notes that Mark's Outdoor Sports celebrated its 30th year in business in 2010, supports over 100 events annually, and demonstrates strong commitment to conservation organizations and wildlife restoration.

Acknowledges Whitlock's role in promoting recreational tourism and motor sports, as well as his leadership in restocking Lay Lake with bass fingerlings for local tournaments.

House adopted the resolution on March 31, 2011, and the Senate adopted it on April 6, 2011.
