Commends Mr. Perry C. Roquemore, Jr., for 37 years of dedicated service to the Alabama League of Municipalities (ALM).

Recognizes his legislative accomplishments including financial enhancements for municipalities through oil and gas trust interest payments and establishment of a revolving loan fund for wastewater improvement.

Credits his leadership with tripling the ALM workforce to more than 60 skilled professionals and expanding headquarters to serve municipalities more effectively.

Honors his role as a protector of municipal rights, defending Alabama's cities and towns against infringement of their authority.

Adopted by the House on April 14, 2011, and adopted by the Senate on April 21, 2011, recognizing his well-deserved retirement.
