Creates the Alabama Sports Wall of Honor as a joint activity of the Governor, Alabama Legislature, Alabama Sports Festival, and Governor's Commission on Physical Fitness, with Alabama Sports Festival bearing administrative and financial responsibility.

Permanent portraits of honorees, commissioned by Alabama Sports Festival, will be displayed in an appropriate area inside the Alabama State House, with additional inductees added annually during Alabama Sports Festival opening ceremonies.

Inaugural induction ceremony scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2011, at center stage of Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center Arena, to be telecast live on statewide television.

Inaugural class includes University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban (honoring 2009 undefeated 14-0 BCS National Championship season), Auburn University head coach Gene Chizik (honoring 2010 undefeated 14-0 BCS National Championship season), and Heisman Trophy winners Mark Ingram (2009), Cameron Newton (2010), Pat Sullivan (1971), and Bo Jackson (1985).
