Commends Ed Miller, Superintendent of Gadsden City Schools, for being named 2011 Superintendent of the Year by the Alabama Community Education Association (ACEA).

Recognizes Miller's exemplary support of community education and after-school programming that enables more than 500 students in Gadsden School System to participate in supervised academic and enrichment programs.

Acknowledges Miller's exceptional abilities and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of public education throughout his career.

Alabama Legislature honors Miller with this joint resolution and extends best wishes for his future endeavors.
