Commends Indianapolis Power and Light Company for its rapid response and assistance following the devastating tornado outbreak in Alabama on April 27, 2011.

Recognizes that the company generously contributed resources and sent skilled workers who repaired damage and enabled recovery efforts to progress.

Acknowledges that thousands of Alabamians had their power service restored ahead of schedule due to the utility company's efforts.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be conveyed to the company to express the legislature's admiration and appreciation for timely assistance to disaster survivors.
