Commends the Fort Payne Improvement Authority for its exceptional service following the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak in Alabama.

Recognizes the Authority's contribution of skilled and dedicated workers who rapidly repaired damage and restored power service ahead of schedule for thousands of Alabamians.

Acknowledges the Authority's crucial role in enabling recovery efforts and providing relief to tornado survivors.

Directs that a copy of this resolution be conveyed to the Fort Payne Improvement Authority to express the Legislature's admiration and appreciation.

Adopted by the House on May 26, 2011 and by the Senate on May 31, 2011.
