Commends Cumberland Valley Electric Cooperative of Kentucky for its emergency response and assistance following the devastating tornado outbreak in Alabama on April 27, 2011.

Recognizes that the cooperative's skilled workers were sent to Alabama and worked to rapidly restore power service ahead of schedule for thousands of Alabamians.

Acknowledges the cooperative's generosity in contributing resources and enabling recovery efforts to progress while providing relief to tornado survivors.

Resolution directs that a copy be sent to Cumberland Valley Electric Cooperative to convey the state's admiration and appreciation for their timely assistance.
