Creates the Cooper Green and Health Care Service Interim Task Force in Jefferson County to study health care services and performance.

Task force composed of 8 members appointed by House Jefferson County delegation chair, 4 members appointed by Senate Jefferson County delegation chair, Director of Cooper Green, Jefferson County Health Department administrator, President of Jefferson County Commission, and County Commission Chair of Health and Community Services Committee.

Task force chair is the District 55 representative member, co-chair is Director of Cooper Green Hospital, and must study adequacy of earmarks, services rendered, and performance compared with federally funded clinics in Mobile County.

Task force must report findings, conclusions, and recommendations to Legislature no later than fifth legislative day of 2012 Regular Session, then dissolves.

Legislative members receive regular compensation, per diem, and travel expenses; non-legislative officials receive no compensation but may be reimbursed for expenses; total task force expenditures capped at $1,000.
