Honors Mark Whitlock, president of Mark's Outdoor Sports in Vestavia, Alabama, on being named 2010 Gold Retailer of the Year in the "Annual Sales More than $5 Million" category by the Alabama Retail Association.

Recognizes Whitlock as the first-ever two-time winner in this category, with the award presented at the 2010 Retail Day Luncheon on September 22, 2010, in cooperation with the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Business.

Commends Mark's Outdoor Sports for delivering excellent goods and services, supporting over 100 events annually, and celebrating its 30th year in business in 2010.

Acknowledges the business's support of conservation organizations, wildlife and fish protection, and annual restocking of Lay Lake with bass fingerlings for open bass tournaments.
