Honors Boy Scout Troop 514 for representing the State of Alabama at the West Point Camporee at the United States Military Academy on April 29-May 1, 2011.

Troop 514 is the only troop from Alabama competing in the 2011 camporee, with approximately 30 Scouts and fathers traveling to New York for the event.

Troop 514 was established in 2005 and currently has about 25 members, with 10 young men having earned the rank of Eagle Scout since its founding.

The troop is sponsored by Dominion Baptist Church and hosted by Moody Free Will Baptist Church, with Dean Speers serving as Scoutmaster and David Poythress as Senior Patrol Leader.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Troop 514 as evidence of esteem and admiration.
