Commends Mr. Pat Whetstone, Director of The University of Alabama's Office of Alumni Affairs, for exceptional professional achievement and service upon his retirement after over 20 years of service.

Mr. Whetstone joined the University of Alabama in 1988 in the Alumni Fund Department and became Director of the Office of Alumni Affairs in 1991.

His greatest career achievement includes keeping the alumni staff and executive committee focused on the needs of alumni, prospective students, and the university.

Mr. Whetstone reared three children, two of whom graduated from The University of Alabama, and plans to travel, take continuing education classes, study history, and spend time with his grandchildren during retirement.

The House of Representatives conveys its highest esteem and best wishes to Mr. Whetstone for his distinguished civic leadership, experience, dedication, leadership, and integrity throughout his two decades of service.
